Ceiling Panels (For Rafters)

Preparation:

1. Determine the placement for your acoustic panels. Consider the layout and spacing to achieve optimal acoustic performance.

2. Choose a location for each wire that aligns with the corners or edges of your panels for even support.

Installation Steps:
1. Marking the Locations:
- Using a pencil, mark the positions on the rafter where you'll attach the wire. Ensure these marks correspond to the corners or edges of your panels and are evenly spaced.
- Use a measuring tape and level to ensure accuracy and alignment.

4. Inserting Drywall Hooks:
- Insert the drywall hooks into the pilot holes by pinching together the wings and pushing them through the holes. Push the wings and the hook up untiil you hear a snap as the wings spread open. The height of the hook can be adjusted by applying downward pressure on the hook and twisting it clockwise. When the hook as at the desired height, tighted the nut and washer until flush with the ceiling.

5. Mounting the Panels:
Directly to Drywall Hooks - attach d-rings on the rear of the ceiling panel onto the hooks.

6. Using Wire and Adjustable Wire Hook

Attach the loop end of the wire to the hook. Then insert the other end of wire into the bottom of the adjustable wire hook until the wire goes through to the other side. Holding the end of the wire, apply upward pressure on the adjustable wire hook to slide the hook to the desired height. Press in the bottom of the adjustable hook and apply downward pressure to lower the height of the hook. When the adjustable wire hooks are at the desired height, attach the hooks to the d-rings on the rear of the ceiling panel.

7. Final Adjustments:
- Once all panels are mounted, step back and inspect their alignment and spacing. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure they are evenly distributed and level.
- Apply slight pressure to each panel to ensure they are securely attached to the drywall hooks.

Safety Precautions:
- Always wear safety goggles when drilling into the ceiling to protect your eyes from debris.
- Use caution when climbing on a step ladder or stool, ensuring it is stable and secure before mounting panels.
